International site rankings for Facebook, Google and twitter

India is currently the fastest-growing country in terms of LinkedIn activity, with around 3 million total users.

Two-thirds of marketers are planning to increase investment in social media even though less than one-fifth can effectively measure ROI.

70% of companies are planning to increase their marketing budgets for off-site social media (e.g. networking sites, Facebook and Twitter).

64% of companies are planning to increase their budget for on-site social media (such as blogs or ratings and reviews).

LinkedIn has over 50 million members worldwide. This means an increase of around 1 million members month-on-month since July/August last year.

There are now 11 million LinkedIn users across Europe.
