Saturday brought something really special for Interactive Bees in form of an event themed, “IBuzz”. On March 19, 2016, we at IBees organized an internal competition where each team had to present a digital and promotion strategy for a client named Tulips.
TULIPS is a brand that has personal hygiene eccentric products in its portfolio that include ear buds, cotton pads and cotton balls. Tulips had given IBEES the creative rights for 360 brand positioning and IBEES gave its creative minds a brilliant chance to blow the minds of the client as well as judges. The strength of IBees was divided into 5 teams and their names were Creative Pirates, Trailblazers, The Strikers, Gladiators and Brand DNA.
Well, gone are the days when competition was a serious business, that’s a passé guys! As here in IBees, what I always experienced that competition is all about delivering your best without losing the fun, passion and spark. And for this event, as usual, all were really geared up and trust me, it was no less than a festival for IBee’ians.
The gala event started at 3 o’clock and was attended and judged by many eminent personalities including Mr. Rahul Jain- Partner Tulips; Mr. Karan Jain- Head, Plant Operations Tulips, Mr. Atishay Jain- Analytical Biz Associate, McKinsey & Co., Ms. Shilpa Mittal, well known movie critic. Work suddenly went into fun mode with everyone trying to outdo the other with some amazingly interesting ideas. Ms. Monica, Director, Interactive Bees, had a special guest, Dr. S. Lakshmi Devi, her college principal, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, to grace the occasion and be a part of the judging committee. It was flagged off by Team Brand DNA, while the last team to present was The Strikers. All teams came up with such brilliant and innovative ideas leaving smiles on the faces of judges. The event ended with a big bang leaving everyone eagerly waiting for the results.
Finally, the competition was won by my Team, Trailblazers. The team who stood second was Gladiators and the third prize went to Brand DNA. I was so happy that it bought tears into my eyes. Judges awarded winning teams with a certificate, some goodies and a prize money! At the end, judges very well elevated their drooping morals of the teams who didn’t win by sharing their own experiences and a few success stories. Well, we all worked hard to make this event a big hit.
Let’s me take you through a tour to the event with these photographs:
